Nor will I do the same with the Lord of the Rings, and pause reflectively during the Two Towers to ask the Merlin did he side with the Elves, or the Orcs? before continueing on.

I dunno. The Za Lord might end up as a position powerful enough to be a signatory.

Would he not have to break from the White Council first?

Or could he create a psudonyme? (sp?)

That would be cool, he should dress up as a cowled character and 'sneak in' the back door under a new name to the Black Council

And, among the mystic symbols adorning his robe, the image of a red domino with white dots...

The Za Lord may not take side in the ongoing pizza Wars, although he can espouse a preference for Chicago style Pizza.  Nor may he sabotage those makers of frozen carbdoard that they sell as pizza, unless he teaches them how to make decent pizza.

Nor may the Za Lord allow his guard to intervene against competing pizza companies.  No sudden rash of flat tires, unexpected detours, delays or other 'problems' that make the opposition get there with cold pizza.

He may however set his guard, if he has the number to guard Pizza Delivery drivers from rip-offs or at least revenge them when it happens.

He may divide the city into it's usual wards and set up accounts for the local fae to order pizza from.  If they are doing well or have the money, their pizza is unlimited except for his finances.  Hey, why not become Chicago's Za Lord instead of just a small group of fae.
He can also ask for a preferred customer account, based upon a discount for volume and become the pizza

If I ever find myself back at the Deeps, I cannot yell, "CANNON-BALL!"
   - especially not when Lara is in ear-shot. She might kill me.

I may not refer Deidre to Toe-mas
    -especially not in demon-form
    - Thomas would kill  me.

I am not allowed to let Bob attend Mardi Gras.....the destruction of the city would surely be noticed.

or, ... it would make Hurricane Katrina look tame by comparison.

Err... again?

The title of the thread, no longer, that means he did it once and he really shouldn't do it ever ever ever again.

Actually, the main source seems to have been a crusading type who came up with the notion that comic books were a root cause of juvenile delinquency, named of Fredric Wertham.  He appears to have been a trifle...overwrought.

You think that's bad.
We have all heard that comics, and tv and video games rot our minds.

I found an old book in a antique book store that basically says any and all books rot the mind and no one should ever read.
How your supposed to convey that to people without reading it is a question that still hurts my head when I try and read past the first page.

Well, that's not too far from the manufacturer of a frozen tiramisu that advises that, to avoid ruining the dessert, not to turn the package upside down.

Where is this warning?

On the bottom of the box containing the tiramisu...whereby in following the instructions, you screw up the dessert.

Harry Dresden is no longer allowed to watch Oxhorn Videos on a computer and make comments about the Elves while in earshot of his cleaning squad.

Oxhorn puts down elves.
