Oddest Book Titles Of The Year Announced
« on: March 29, 2008, 04:31:14 PM »
I was previously unaware that there were any awards for oddest book titles of the year, but evidently it's been going on for some time. The just announced winner for 2007, "If You Want Closure in Your Relationship, Start With Your Legs", beat out the next runner up, "I was Tortured By The Pygmy Love Queen", and third place finisher, "Cheese Problems Solved", in a popular vote.

I don't know, "John Dies at the End" is one of my personal favorite book titles.

That one won Oddest Title of the Year in 2006. I was surprised at how many other books are out there in print about freeing people from the attachment of the spitits of dead people. http://www.amazon.com/People-Dont-Know-Theyre-Dead/dp/1578632978

*snicker*  There's an ad running underneath the article:  "Teeth Whiteners Exposed!" that I thought for a moment was another title on the list.  Two of my favorites from way back when are Zombies of the Gene Pool and Bimbos of the Death Sun, both murder mysteries set in the world of SF fandom.
