I saw this thing on tv. A collage proffessor is given an hour to teach kids (Maybe ten to thirteen year olds) how to write. He went over what he could do for these kinds in an hour.

What he ended up telling them was that the first line is the most important in the book. Because if the first line doesn't get the readers attention they won't read beyond that.

I agree. Who else thinks so?
