This is what we learned in Battle Ground
1) There are quite a few starborn running around confirmed
2) Drakul wanted Harry for the "stars and stones."
3) Harry was deliberately bred, and the Senior Council (at least some of them) know why
4) Peace Talks: Starborn have power over Outsiders
5)Morgan microfiction: Starborn can become "Destroyers". Let's assume this is Drakul
So, speculation time!
My two cents: I'm thinking that there are only a few options.
1) A Highlander situation, where there can be only one. Jim lurvs his tropes. That one gets "the prize."
2) There's something only a starborn can do that's critical to reality. Maybe the starborn are required to renew reality via the "stars and stones".
So what's a Destroyer? Is it something that opens the Outer Gates? Or are Starborn something like a backdoor into reality, and they either hold the gates or let in Outside? That might explain Drakul. He's now full of Outsider in a Starborn skin suit. Maybe Kukulcan as well.
