If you give this man a ride sweet family will die.  Killer on the road.

Congatulations. Please leave some alive for the others.  ;D
My father gave me the advice to make a cut into the steering wheel with each person I ran over. That way you can't loose count.
Obviously he wasn't successful himself. His steering wheel had no cut at all. Poor man.

Great song by the way. Had to listen to The Doors after that.

Hah! This reminds that whenever I take a taxi,  I tell him he'll get a 10 pound bonus for every person they run over.  So far only one driver got it.
As for the song,  snoop dogg added a certain flavor to it,. I love all of NFUG2 sound tracks

Great. Now that song is stuck in my head. It keeps playing over and over.
But it's OK. At least it's not a hectic song.

You too. That's funny. It just took reading the text and it was there again.
Sometimes there are other songs or just melodies.
For example, if someone says "stop". I start to sing " in the name of love".
Or the tune from "Happy Tree Friends" (makes me jittery).
Most times it takes just one word and the song is there.
Sometimes I manage to fight it by singing another song, if it lasts too long.

Um. "Stop" Triggers "Stop Stop" by TBK for me, and I can't fight it, it has to run its course.
The other side of this coin is that some songs trigger certain books for me.
For example: "La serenissima by Loreena Mckennitt" Reminds me of Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. "Looking for love" Reminds me of "The Name of the Wind".

Congratulations, Otlan!! I am very happy for you  :D

I am also happy because you posted in the RPG thread.

Heyla Kiddies. Sneaks back in when no one is looking. Congratulations Otlan - you rock. and I will definitely remember to stay off the roads in your area of the country. :o :o
Hey Dina, miss ya. Sorry to hear it's cold there but you can send it up here. Very warm would be what I would call it around here.
Finally working at trying to get my novella ready for Amazon. Wish me luck. I need the money. Doing my usual end of month plea to try to get the rent. Doesn't look good this month. Several friends have come down very sick and it's disheartening. I can't really do anything for any of them. So keep your fingers crossed. Have spent my time writing fan pic - yeah, I know, but it was an escape from everything and it harmed no one. Sigh. Heard from LC - she just lost her job, unfortunately. Duckie has written several books and they're on Amazon. I think the first one is Queen of Crows. Interesting concept. Payne's Grey got married. I think Mousewynn finally retired, and Mr. Shecky is being owed by five cats - also being an independent copy editor - a good copy editor.

(((((((((Snowy))))))))))))
Of course I have my fingers crossed for you. And I'll buy your novella as soon as it is published, of course. And I did not know about LC! Was it a long time ago? I'll try to contact her, to see how she is doing. I did not know about duckie either. I will try to get at least one of her books. I hope everyone is doing well.
I had a surgery! Gallbladder removed. It was a laparoscopic one, so it was not painful or anything, and I've spent several days on medical leave. But for now I cannot eat fatty things, and they even forbid me black coffee, so I am not too happy  :-\. I have hope that this diet helps me get rid of some of my extra pounds. It is my intention to keep a low-fat diet even when I am totally ok, it is my chance to try to get fitter and healthier.

*Checks temperature* Honestly, I think I live in a place where it's unfair of me to "compete" here. :P
We get some fun, hot summers here in the Southern US.
Is it just me or is it getting a little solipsistic in here?

@Dina:
That doesn't sound like fun. No fat is ok, but no COFFEE???? Will the diet be required forever or are you allowed to eat and drink everything again after recovery?

At the moment it's 15 °C and wet outside. We had a really weird summer: One week 30°C, next week 12°C, the week after that 35°C with a lot of electricity in the air but no thunderstorm as release. After that 10-15°C and so on. People were having headaches. One could neither get used to heat nor to cold.
Also the winters in the past few years never got colder than -10°C. Mostly it was above zero. There was only one day, when we could build a small snowman, but the next day it was already melting.

I remember my childhood with -20°C in January for several days.

But I shouldn't complain. At least there are no hurricanes or volcanos ...

Weather is getting a little milder now. At most today it was 38°C, and right now its 32°C outside.
I never saw snow in my life (Although I remember a few hailstorms when I was 5) and I used to dream of living in a country where it snowed. My brother got a job in Germany 2 years ago and thoroughly destroyed my fantasies. It seems we all adapt to our climate, and its a hard to adapt to anything else.
