Yes it was :D But if I remember correctly, back then I just had to wash some sheets. Now I had to wash 3 blankets, which is less than fun. bleh.

I thought about it tbh. However, my opinion hasn't changed than when you first asked me that question :P. I like animals as close to their nature as possible. And I do need the extra cats around here. I'm just angry because it snuck inside when I wasn't around and chose my bed to give birth. Ignoring the nice comfy bed I made for it.

How many kitten have survived the previous time?

I believe it could be an instinct for safeness. A bed is higher above the ground, so "enemies" would have a harder time reaching them. Poor thing wants comfyness, yes, but also safety in a very vulnerable moment for her. Don't be mean with her.

Only one survived, but its not an adult yet.
Hmm, the instinct thing could be true, but its more related to being as near to me as possible rather than being above ground level. I moved it to the spare bedroom on the bed and several blankets, but it still keeps bringing the kittens back to my bed during the night. I try not to move around now while sleeping, as they're taking up half the bed :s

Yes it does, and its very good for my ego. lol. Always a pattern with it, when its pregnant, last few weeks its always close by me when its not out hunting, and on the day its due, it never leaves my side for a second, wherever I go.
Here is a picture. Had to resize it, so the quality is crap. Under the cat you can see my ruined blanket (grrrrrr) which I'll get around to cleaning once next week or so. After I'm sure there are no more cold spells :P

Good maen all. Having to deal with annoying work drama from those that I am supposed to be supervising. I miss the days where I just did my work and went home.
