Dresden V. Butcher
« on: November 09, 2017, 02:22:58 AM »
I just tried to imagine Jim Butcher writing a story about him having a conversation with Harry.  I can't get past Harry bitching about everything Butcher has put him through, and JB grinning like a maniac and saying "Wait to see what I do to you next."

Sounds about right. Then Harry would punch Jim in the face and storm off.

The artist did a great job on that series, completely forgot about it.

And, now years later, I put two and two together and realize its probably an app now that I've seen these "bitmojis" finally... :/

well, still was funny :)

Yeah, it was just a online comic app.  Bitstrips link in the bottom.  The strip stopped when they lost my profile, which had all the character and background builds.  I didn't want to start from scratch.

Unless ...

Jim is just relating the story of Harry, and Harry complains more about how Jim isn't keeping it secret.

So who would be Jim Butcher's alter ego in the series... Bob? Mister?   ;)

I have not lost my mind, it is backed up somewhere on disc...

The person giving Harry the most grief, obviously.

Larry Fowler.

Harry does a body swap, leaving Jim trapped within the story in Harry's body while Harry escapes the fantasy world into the real world to live happily ever after.

He was in the story.  The mail man in the first book...

Stole this from Reginald because it was so well put, and is true for me as well.

"I love this place. It was a beacon in the dark and I couldn't have made it through some of the most maddening years of my life without some great people here."  Thank you Griff and others who took up the torch.
