Nod from other fan sources.

Discovered a few tidbits and figured they were noteworthy
Empty Night- is a vampirology curse used to refer to bad hunting/no humans/prey an empty night for them. Considering WCV are known for this curse...
Little but fierce is a quote from Shakespeare's Midsommers Night (which connects Murphy to Fairies fyi, here's lookin at you raidem)
"game over" was used before SG, when Harry knows Billy is waiting to take out Cowl in DB.
Quote from: A. Lanning
I'm sorry, My responses are limited. You must ask the right questions.
Quote from: C Chaplin
...And so as long as men die, Liberty will never perish.

Hermia definitely sounds like Murphy at least when it comes to height issues and desire for actual combat.  We have a WOJ that Shakespeare "really doesn't know what he is talking about" but, in my opinion, still touches upon some kernel of truth.

Note that the quote was used by Sanya, who spoke relatively broken English at the time. I believe his quote was, "I like her. She is so tiny and fierce. I wonder if she knows how to..." and then Michael cut him off. I don't have the book in front of me, so I'm going from memory. I do remember the chapter ending with him reiterating, "Tiny. But fierce." While "closing a demonstrative fist."

I'm not sure Sanya knew he was quoting Shakespeare—but I have a feeling Rosanna liked to read it, if only to project an image of "RESCUE ME!" helplessness that she's used in the past.

Well, I'm partly talking about all the low slights.  Apparently,  Hermia took issue with them similar to Murphy. And, the tiny but fierce in part stemmed from her reaction to those slights.

Murphy took issue with Harry holding the door open for her.
