Cen...I suppose I would be considered lucky that most of my family (which is very small, btw) is right here where I am, so I see them a lot.  Maybe too much.   

So...getting to be with your cousins is a good thing in your case, if they are not so close.  But your holiday does have the makings of a fun time!

Sometimes we just have to sit back and realize that writing has to take a backseat to RL.  Of course, that makes us want to write even more.  LOL.  When we can't.

we live all over the cuntry and some on my dads side not even in the cuntry so i rely see people

I am writing, but the project is an unusal one....

Did some work for a gaming product. The Battletech gaming universe has just finished up a massive war that had battles across a thousand lights years, and hundreds of planets, with massive armies beating the crap out of each other. 

Anyway, I mentioned in an email to the assistant Line developer (He who was supervising the gaming project) that there was war theaters where little was know about. So he said, "Why don't you choose an area that we didn't do enough of and write a product?"

A challenge....

I said okay, so now I have a project that the first draft is due 15 August.The thing is, little was written about this theater, so instead of saying "look here," I have to create the background of the conflict, based on a dozen small notes, items from a dozen line products, and my imagination....

I am having a BLAST!!!

I haven't been able to write a lick since my last time posting here.  Damn you real life!  Finally got things sorted out though, and was even able to review my notes tonight!

Wife has her night class tomorrow.  Seems like the perfect time to put on some ambient music and knock out some pages!  Wish me luck!

@cenwolfgirl - Sorry to hear about your paper.  I was always a terrible procrastinator, so even the simplest of papers would hang over me all week long stressing me out.  Hopefully you take a more responsible approach! lol

With my prospects dwindling, I'm making a final push to finish the long awaited screenplay and jumping (when I'm bored) to a TV Pilot I've been working on for Amazon Studios.


Now if only transfers from RTF and PDF formats from Google Docs weren't so....picky...


Good that I can operate under pressure and apparently best when  i have a deadline looming, but still.

Hows everyone been? My novel is finally almost finished. The first draft anyway... I wish I could make more time to work on it. Lifes been crazy, with college, my gf and I now living together, my uncle having to stay with us for awhile, and a new job that went from part time to overtime. My writing time has suffered and my blog is pretty much on hiatus. But now things are finally settling down.  I'm just diving into the novel at the moment, but even though I only have twenty followers, I promised a blog series that has actually only made it to one posting so far. Not sure how to get the blog alive again or if it would even be worth it.

Ah, feels good to vent. Hope you guys don't mind!
