ha i started for the same reaon this is only the 8th story i have writton i think it is one of the worst
i think the ending espeshaly cringe worthy
and it anoys me as i have written better endings and stories and i know i can do better then this
but this story is hideuce and all i can do is lurn from it i sopoes

I've abandoned several stories after realizing they just weren't working the way I pictured them.  But it was hard letting go.  Eventually, I stopped writing and left them in the dead-story boneyard...just in case I got inspired again, which did happed once or twice.  But most of the time, they just lie there, no hope of ressurection left in them.

there is one i might get back to at some point as the other day i got an idea for it that might work

i rely want to finnish the book i am wroking on first though as i know where that is going

i think this short story may be plast there for a wile till i figer out how to fix the ending as that is its main problem

Well, if someone dies from reading your story with the worst ending around then you know you were right and it wasn't just your inner critic.

But someone might know how to fix it...if they survive the process. 

Maybe HD should read it.

Hey, CWG, if you want, I'll be brave and volunteer to read your story.  And I'm pretty sure it won't kill me.     I may not be the wisest person for the job, but I'll give you my honest opinion.

BTW, I got ambitious yesterday and finished a short story I've had in th works for ages.  I was supposed to have it done by the end of May for a particular challenge, but RL kept me from meeting that deadline.  But now that I've finished it, I'm going to post it anyway.  It's the longest one I've done in first person (5,100 words) and I want to see what the others think, though they're not exactly lovers of first person.  But maybe it'll change their minds.

Finally got a few thousand words done the other day. I'm closing in on 20k. Writing this novel has been a very slow process which is odd, because I basically have the entire plot mapped out already.
