It was great to meet everyone this evening!  It was a lot of fun talking Dresden theories, gaming, sci-fi/fantasy books, "True Blood," making fun of that other "vampire" book series  , and sharing a meal with other Dresdenites! 

I hope to meet up with you all again!

Good Morning! We agree with the others. It was a fun night!  We definitely need another get together. Arundel Mills Mall, Tyson Corners, Orlando Florida. Any of those places would be great.

BTW - Don't anyone tell DrkChapel that Molly shot Harry. I would hate to spoil the ending for him.

We were talking about coordinating meetings every other month or so, coordinating book release parties, coordinating meet-ups at book signings, so to make that a bit easier, I created a group on Facebook called "Mid Atlantic Harry Dresden Fans".  For now it's a "closed" group b/c it's specifically aimed at JB Forum members in the Mid Atlantic to use to coordinate and communicate about local fan-dom activities!  If you want to join the group, go to the page and click on the "join" or whatever the button is called and I'll get a request and approve you!  It's not to substitute for the forum, but a quick way to communicate to a targeted geographic demographic of Harry fans!

I'll start calling Burger Kings in the general DC vicinity in late September/early October to inquire about reserving half the restaurant for our next bimonthly Dresdenites R Us meeting...

Yeah!  I think the FB group will be a good place to let each other know about fun Cons in the area...like Star Trek etc esp those that JB is attending!
