Okay well Rocko has been modified to your liking I hope.
Yes thanks - I always like OAFs in Champions - I've just realised you can do that in Dresden now :)
Plus focusing his faith into the crucifix frees up more fate for the player to use during the game.

I am currently in the process of making another True Believer type named Sister Mary Catherine. I've seem have hit a writers block though.

Lest see if I can help knock down a few walls then... Start with the Basics.

Is Mary Catholic or Protestant? http://www.protestantnun.org/ - they do exist!

What lead her to God? Was she always religious or did she have a moment of conversion?

If the latter, how sinful was she before? How many people remember this time, and will it come back to 'haunt' her.

Is she local to Liverpool, or shipped in from out side?

What is she doing hanging round with a 'smelly bunch of bikers' like the Breed?

Does she have any ties to other factions in the city (e.g. the river witches.) http://dfrpg-resources.wikispaces.com/The+River+witches
I would HATE to be a character in one of the stories I write -
and then there are the days when it looks too much like I AM!

Guys I have to say, thanks for your help on this one, it's really coming together; the various characters are all turning up links into the faction in the city which will make this a great way to bring bits of the back ground in.
In summary so far we have:
Rocko, qualified priest back by the power of GOD now returning back to the Rare breed. And who life has been overseen by Father Paul MacKenzie.

Frederick Mathers, squad leader experiences at tackling the problems the white court leve behind, and with connections to the Royal Court via his 'Uncle frank' (There is a whole Meta plot going on there around why the lord protector of the faerie city would be mentoring some one bred to face the White court given Longarms apparently friendly connections with Elijah....)

Abraham, who despite not quite making the standards required to be recognised as a wizard, has spent his teenage years out at the Arch Mages home at Speke learning to control his psychometry and sight talents.
(Would you be heart broken if I changed his surname to Cavendish? Only that ties in with bits of the back ground better - the Cavendish' have always had a more scientific and enquiring mind than the military minded Molyneux )

And Terry the team mascot ... :) who I'll be gutted if no one plays as he has so much potential.

So in the pipe line - Sister Mary Catherine (Assuming Raphael is not totally blocked)

Also I have the aspect "There is no Law 'cept those we make for our selves" stuck in my head, which is beginning to feel rather vigilante like, or that scouse brand of Liverpool socialist anarchy... May be a Pym?

For balance it  would be good to have
some one dealing with the spirit world - the Roscoe family have ghost speaker and ectomancy lurking in their line.
And some one that can go up against the Changelings - a clayton maybe?

I have added a page to the Hangover city section on the Wiki to give more details on the Rare Breed families here (I hadn't realised I'd not updated the wiki pages when I expanded the section on the Breed in my notes/ the PDFs.

Might help throw around some Insirons

Change the name however you wish.

A few more ideas:

A classic biker gang guy, to uphold Rare Breed's image. Good at driving, craftsmanship, intimidation, and general tough-guy-ness. Pure Mortal.

A young member of the Pym family hailed as a genius because he has both Cloak Of Shadows and Spider Walk. Not sure how to deal with the pressure on him or the expectation that he'll have a dozen kids for the good of the bloodline.

A wealthy, well-connected patriarch of the Roscoe family. Has Ghost Speaker, and maybe the IoP leathers.

A super-soldier of sorts, born as a crossbreed of the Hardman and Clayton families. Very young and very powerful, because of rather focused education. Someone for the munchkin to play. Has Channeling, See Through The Glamour, and one Refinement.

I like these two as it would give some variety in choice of character and explore which works better - having lots of Fate in your pool, or having lots of predefined abilities and powers.
Might be fun making our super soldier female :) In the tradition of Scouse woman you dont say NO to lightly...
Ream doesn't usually put women in the front line - but I think he would find it hard not justifying letting her go out and play.

The biker would be a Dansy

And the aspect "If its not nailed down its mine." :)

The Roscoe patriarch would make a better NPC for the game I have in mind, but some one with 'ghost' connections might be good - May be Sister Mary Catherine?

So how many more characters are needed by the end of the month?

Not sure if I am really at the right place, but I have a request for help putting this character into stats.

The setting is not really the standard Dresden Setting. Think more along the lines of Dresden Files mixed with a good dose of KULT, Silent Hill and Hellraiser. This Settings Version of the Nevernever is a dark and horrific version. A place where the border between that Otherworld and our world is thin is a small town located somewhere in America.

The character is a girl in senior high school/college (not decided yet) who lost her parents early and was raised by her sometimes a bit strange grandma. She grew up a normal girl but not long ago her grandma died and told her on the deathbed about her familys secret:

Her family are a kind of guardians which guard the border between the Otherworld and our world against intrusions from the other side. She now inherits that duty.

I imagine her as a kind of monster hunter, trying to life a normal life while trying to fight the monsters which strangely start to cross the border in greater numbers then ever before because of some impending cataclysm or such. She uses her looks, her wits, some magic she just started to learn out of her grandma's note book and her grandmas trusted old shotgun.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Thanks
Edit: I forgot: The power level is "Feet in the water" or the next one after that (forgot the name of that)

No I believe that you have come to the right place. I can personally create this character for you or have someone else on the thread do it. With myself being a beginning player I think that another player would be better for you.

SO 6 Refresh, 20 point on skills
Focused Practitioner or Minor Talent
Powers -
-2 World walker to allow her to pass to and from the Nevernever as needed
-1 Sight - So you can see the beasts for what they are
-2 Channelling - Element=spirit/force - So she has some magical skills to use against them. Granny's book could well be the Focus Item she is using, giving +1 to both Offensive and Defensive control (Because is shows her HOW to do it rather than providing POWER to do it)

Total of -5 which leaves a very low refresh of 1 and no option for stunts.
:( So you might want to drop Sight or World Walker to give a few more options.

skills: Great (2):Rapport(For her wits), Presence (For the good looks),
Good(2): Lore, Gun (For Knowing where to hit and being able to hit there)
Fair (2):Alertness, Athletics (For not getting hit)
Average(2): Conviction, Discipline (For sticking with it when the going gets tough - and because she needs them for her 'magic' but is only just learning to control all that stuff.)

Alternatively switch something (a skill) out for endurance for a longer physical stress track.  You may try an item of power instead of being a spell caster.  It can be any weapon so guns works as would a melee weapon, but you'd need a different skill...weapons for example.

It is what it is: weapon of some type
Indestructable
One time discount: +2
True aim -1
Inhuman Speed: -2

This leaves room for a stunt and having 1 refresh leftover.

Or two refresh leftover.

No...
But it needs to be Focus Practitioner level because Rare Breed are not THAT potent.

you could have a crack at

I had the idea Sanctaphrax had that covered.  If not I'll try it, but otherwise you seem to be covered.
