How have you made use of the Chase and Cat and Mouse mechanics?

I'm looking for cool ways to put these to use that I hadn't thought of before.

I did, but it was players on bicycles evading bad guys in a car, and the players weren't very Athletic (or Driving-savvy) so they weren't doing very well until they opted to hex the pursuing car.

That echoes on like it’s carpet-bombing feverish white jungles of thought

Epic car chase across the world and the Nevernever

Yeah, except I don't see anything in that thread about how it went?  How did it turn out, assuming the session actually did start 30 minutes after that last post and you actually played DFRPG and started with that chase.  :)  You know what they say about GM plans and PCs.

Oh, yeah... hehehe... it went very, very well.  We had some spectacularly bad dice rolls that made some things frustrating for some of the PCs (four rolls in a row for one guy with nothing above a -2), but overall, it was solid, memorable, and very enjoyable.
