I'm looking for a little clarification here. If we enter CafePress or Amazon.com from the Jim Store, does the site get referral profits from anything we buy on those sites or just the items we click on to move there?

All above-the-cost-of-producing-the-item royalties from the site-affiliated CafePress store sales go to support the site.

Clicking through from the jim-butcher.com store on any amazon link means that referral credit goes to the site's amazon associate account, which I use to support the site.

I.e., if I pass thru to Amazon and buy WN, then a set of Botanic Garden dishes, will the site get referral profits for both items?

It should, if I understand how it works, yes.

Same on CafePress, if I buy a Splattercon T and then a custom mug or T, will the site get referral profits for both items?

Not if the custom mug or T is from a non site-affiliated store... if I understand how it works. :)

While the quotes are a good idea...I'm rather partial to things with graphics :D

The McAnally's Pub and the Blue Beetle ideas seem good.  I also think the one with the Laws is AWESOME.  Anyway that the dude who made one for himself could send the design to iago?

I like the idea about having a contest thing on DeviantArt.

I bought Priscellie's SplatterCon!!! t-shirt.  I'll have to try to get a picture of me wearing it at Old Faithful or another famous place like that.

I like the Spattercon, McAnallay's pub, and the fairy maid service ideas.  I would totally buy the fairy maid service one.  It's just too cute NOT too.  I also like the quote ideas too.

You guys are brilliant.

Buttons are already available at Wizards Harry, Jim's sister's site.  I have a button with the quote you mentioned on my purse!

Though I know CafePress does buttons, and I would absolutely love a SplatterCon!!! button...

I think I was on Katie MacAlister's forums a couple weeks ago, and someone said they found a site that had Dresden and Harry Potter charms.  I told her that she'd found Jim's sister's site.  :0)

I did get to see it, just haven't had time to do anything. :)

I got my SplatterCon!!! shirt in the mail yesterday, so I wore it today =)

I'm going on a trip to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, so maybe I'll get a couple pictures with the shirt on while I'm there.  If I do I'll be sure to post the pictures here.

Edit: I forgot the !!! :O

I need to buy that baseball style t-shirt with Harry's picture and "My name is Harry Dresden. Conjure by it at your own risk" etc. on the front.

I dunno if anyone mentioned this yet, but I'd like to see a shirt with Harry in action that said "Don't mess with a wizard while he's wizarding" on it. That's been one of my favorite lines so far.

As I am now reading the series for the third time to collect quotes but am only done with Storm Front--no opinion yet there.  Would really like a t-shirt but I hate white.

I vote for: Come on! Bring on the doom, already

Its just such a happy quote - if I wear it I can be the crazy person with a "the end is nigh" poster
