I did not know that blood banks labelled thier blood by profession  ;). A plus 2 is for something anyone can get their hands on with reasonable ease, like crosses, garlic and stuff made of iron getting a priest's blood would be significantly more difficulty than getting garlic etc. The rest of the things you could buy in a shop or find around your house I do not think the attendants at a blood bank would be that pleased if you othered money for their finest priestly blood, though as a plot hook it has a lot of potential.

Well, your bank may not... :p

I was AFB when I posted that, so I apologize for the oversight. I do, however, like the idea of a group of PCs trying to break into a blood bank to get the right blood for their assault on Gargoyle Tower...only to run into some RC vamps having a midnight snack!

Oh the possibilities!

+2 would probably be more reasonable. Remember that Holy Stuff is only +1 for obtainability.

True, but I intended for finding out the vulnerability to be a challenge in and of itself. "Holy stuff" is a whole suite of items, whereas priest's blood is fairly specific.

I still think Holy Stuff should be +2 for availability you can buy stuff likes crucifixes, magen davids at any good local jeweller and copies of the Koran and other holy books at pretty much available anywhere in the western world.

Now a +1 for true believers is a little more understandable.

I always figured that Holy Stuff had to be genuinely blesssed. A random crucifix shouldn't let you bypass a Denarian's Toughness.

PS: Righteousness costs 2 refresh, and Bless This House would be totally appropriate for a cathedral defender.

I thought that was kind of the point with Faith. *You* believed that God would allow it to work because it is a symbol of your Faith, so voila! It works.
The entire Red Court was taken down by the new Winter Knight? From the lowliest pawn all the way up to the King? *puts on sunglasses* Knight to G7. Check mate.

Thank you for catching that - it sure is! The Character Generator program had it listed as -1, and I failed to double check the math afterward. I should maybe report that to the creator.

Alas, now that I'm paying the right cost for Righteousness, Bless This House would take the Cathedral Defender to 0 Refresh. Which is fine for a "Monster" but not for the original intent, a playable PC monster.
