Heh. I went to NYCC and the fan dinner as Ebenezar... because I'm short, stumpy and bearded. Could've gone as Billy but didn't want to shave the beard. Plus, Eb gets to carry around a big stick and has an excuse to wear overalls. :D

Saw the pictures from NYCC...you made an awesome Eb.  I am a <cough> tad older <cough>  than Susan, but who knows, maybe she was a cougar...doesn't matter how old, who would be dumb enough to turn down Harry  ;) ?

That's how I plan too.  :D  I look for characters that have similar eye and hair color to me so I don't have to worry about wigs or contacts.

I feel better...I guess being geeks and nerds that makes a lot of sense.  Sadly, I have age to also factor into this equation, but there really aren't any older female characters, except ancient Mai,  :-\ and Asian, wizened, teeny and frail I am not  ;) ;D  Guess I could have gone as a generic White Council member, but then I'd have to buy a grey cloak... ::)

I'm at least a millenium or two too young for mine - she just doesn't look it.  :P

Robe, I'd think. Grey cloaks are for Wardens.

I like seeing other peoples' wig work.  I'll admit to never really trying it because I feel I have a weird shaped head, as most things I attempt to put on it fall off.

I don't put wigs on.  Other people put them on me.  Evidence:

Yep.  Check the end of Turn Coat for a good summary of the various robes and stoles worn by the White Council.

I love how happy you look in those wigs.

I'll be Chandler for the next 8 years.   Gotta get my money's worth out of it, and it appeases my inner urge to be a self propelled anachronism.

She will, too. It's actually a little frightening.
