Boy for someone who was one of Butcher's first fans I sure have to wait long to read his books.

And I could buy it for my Nook but since I have all the others in actual paper I think I will wait...even though not sure why I torture myself that way.


Can't say this is all real but I've noticed that in the last few years most publishers of hardbacks put out the paperback version earlier than they used to. Not Buthcer's, they seem to take a significant longer period of time to transform his tale into paperbacks.

And I meant it when I said I was one of his first fans. My first few books have the original covers. Can't say for sure when I picked him up but he wouldn't have had more than the first three books out, maybe only SF.  I started pushing him on others soon after.

Book 14, "Cold Days," is expected this fall.  Perhaps Octoberish.  We should get an exact release date in the next month or so!

I'm finding the potential release date of "Octoberish" and the evocative and slightly haunting title "Cold Days" wonderfully symmetrical.

Here in Utah, October is when Winter really starts sharpening its claws.

Vegas Baby!!  I've noticed he's been to SoCal a number of times, specifically to Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA.  If he could, on one of his tours just stop in Las Vegas.  It's so close, just a about 5-5 1/2ish hrs from Burbank, that would be amazing!!  I have at least 4-5ppl + myself that would come.  I know they have friends, who have friends and so forth.  It would be a good turn out.  He has a lot of fans in Vegas.
