The Challenge
« on: October 21, 2010, 02:27:11 AM »
I've Decided to try and take on the 'Butcher Challenge'.  I'm going to try to use one of the ideas that's been of great inspiration in my life, Robin Hood.  But it's just not quite enough to get the juices stirring, and I need a little help finding a second idea to go with it and try to write a story on the idea I find most interesting and Robin Hood.  (PS. Please help!)

Robin Hood escaping from an execution?
Is it just me or is it getting a little solipsistic in here?

Something Simpler.  the 'legend' if the challenge was that he wrote codex Alera on the two basic ideas of Roman Legionaries and Pokemon.  I was hoping for something more like but with Robin hood and something else.

one of the high concepts for one of our characters in a tabletop Dresden RP is "Wereraven Robin Hood"

he's so far pulled one over on Loki three times and has managed to get my character stuck with a cursed sword.

he's also running around with all the cursed artifacts the big bads need for their end the world ritual and NONE OF US KNOW it

the seven sealed Denarian coins are in his possession (again, magically sealed, so he hasn't touched them) while the coins that we and the bad guys are chasing are fakes that he pawned off on Loki, the Chalice of Loki and the four Necronomicans are also in his possession where we thought one of our other group members had them (he rolled a good burglary check so got them without us noticing during a crisis)

This sounds intriguing... :-X

How about Robin Hood and vampires? Modern-day Robin Hood who's stuck in a Clark-Kent-Superman situation and can't get a date with the cute Marion girl from work but has to save the poor by whistle blowing on the rich corporations...?

Huh.

That second one actually sounds like it could fly.
I swear to you, by my own stunning good looks and towering ego, that I'm not lying to you.
