Note that you'd need control +1 for every aspect of thaumaturgy that you wanted to do.  Also, having 6 control lets you safely summon 2 power a pass, so your rituals can go twice as fast.  The endurance limit can also be gotten around that way.

So you are "only" raising the entry level for PC's. (talking about the endurance limit, faster rituals is an advantage with and without the endurance rule)
Why bother? You have still the same problem if the player want to specialice.

Because it will cause limits at the levels that most people will play the game.

Someone who wants to Summon (or Divination, or...) and be good at it will have an Summon Control Focus. Thats available at the same time you can take the Wizard template. (+4 Discipline +2 Control Focus).

Yeah they cant have all bases covered at the same time, but specialisation pays off anyway...

Have completed my next sample conflict, with more of a highlight on evocation.

Looks sound mechanically.

Though in terms of notes, bear in mind the ability to take Mental consequences to cast additional spells, and that falling damage is nasty, but kinda should be. A base 5 stress hit reduced by Athletics is a 3 or 4 stress hit on average. That sounds about right for a 10 foot fall, or a parachute landing.

Now, personally, I wouldn't use the falling rules to simulate jumping down. That should be a Barrier value and maybe some damage if you don't beat it, the falling rules are intended to reflect someone falling unprepared, not actively jumping.

Looks like a good explanation of why having enchanted items will help keep your character contributing in a long series of exchanges (Mental stress will take out a wizard if they have to keep throwing around spells since you have to use a higher rated box for even low power spells after the first shot).

Falling damage is nothing to be scoffed at.  Even parachute training in a saw dust pit can leave you pretty bruised up.  Actual falling onto a hard surface will likely result in broken bones (just ask that kid we all knew growing up who jumped off the roof and broke his arm/leg/etc).

Wow these conflicts are great. you have my thanks for putting them up here :) Though i am sorry i must agree with deadman on the thaumaturgy, but i also feel i should say that if you think the players are trying to short change you making high power thaumaturgy take only like a day or two get on them for it, you are the gm after all.
P.S. I totally loved the evocation conflict. ;D
