It's cause it was edited.  Go back up to 'Cellie's *slap slap* post and read the quote there.

I read that. Still got nothin'. It's a bigger stretch than even *I* would go to if you want to find something off-color there!

I didn't have anything specifically off-color in mind.  It was the kind of terminology that sounds like it should be a euphemism, but isn't.  And now you have killed the joke dead with a shovel. :D

That or it'll keep crawling around in Shecky's brain until something starts to leak, kind of like Lewis Black with that phrase "If it weren't for my horse, I'd never have spent that year in college."  He might think he's thinking of something else, but the subconcious might be spinning it like a speed tweek ferret in a hamster wheel....

He doesn't have anything officially scheduled.  He might snoop around the con as a fan for a bit.  I imagine he'll play it by ear.

...I'm still willing to loan my weekend pass to anyone who wants to bring a friend to the con to see Jim on Friday/Saturday on in exchange for getting Jim to sign one of my hardcover books, and (a reasonable attempt to get from Jim) the answer to the question "How has Harry explained all those neatly arranged, but heavily used XXX romance novels in his lab to Molly, and does she believe his explanation?"

Dante Shepard has the appropriate response for this.  http://survivingtheworld.net, specifically This One.  Just ignore the first and last frames.  :D

I've wondered about this myself!  I'll try to pry an answer out of him and report back.

We will all stare at Jim in quiet askance at the dinner, if we must!
