TickerFactory?

When did this nifty little applet appear first?  Have I not been paying attention or did it appear last night?

I love countdowns!

A poster in another list created the ticker, and I thought it was a great idea to "take over" the header of the forums. :)

Is anyone else geeked out inside that the ticker switched over to counting days instead of a month and days??  I did a little internal squeel when I saw the days numbered on the ticker...kinda sad really... :P

LOL

I did similar, and then I had to go check my ticker in my LJ to see if it changed...  It had worked.   And I loved it.

Can we pull this off or at least change the ticker to countdown to the release of White Night? It is that much fun counting how many days it has been since the premiere.

Maybe we could count down to the UK premiere on 14th February?

I think it would be fair to change it for the UK release, to keep those fans included.  Then change it to the White Night release.

I'll be replacing the ticker when I get the time, but that's been in short supply.

Understandable.  You seem to have a lot on your plate.  And I'm sure Jim is getting ready to toss White Night chapters at you for the site. :)

Just noticed the updated ticker!  Eeee, the book is so close I can taste it, and it tastes like pulp and ink and sweet, sweet Dresden-y goodness.
