I sometimes wonder if the manufactures of foolproof items keep a fool on their payroll to test things.

If it doesn't matter who wins or loses, then why do they keep score?

Priscellie is!

(And folks, make sure you vote "yes" in the poll if you're planning to attend.  It's an easy way for me to do a head count.)

Sue & me.

Yeah, we're gonna need to get this wrapped up ASAP so we can make reservations. I just hope they HAVE an open slot at 8:30.

I'm calling them when they open at 11:30.  Not much longer!

Gah.  Just called Carmine's, and the only opening they have is at 10:30.  McHale's is closed, and Daisy Mae's only has a prepaid system.  I tried a number of other places suggested by my coworkers and eventually landed us reservations at 8:30 at Brother Jimmy's BBQ (31st and 8th).  Way to wait until the last minute, Priscilla!  Still, it's going to be delicious and awesome.

Both kinds - good because, well, BBQ is good, and bad because, y'know, it's a coronary on a plate... but I repeat myself.

Pfft!  If you had any objection to BBQ, you should have been psychic while I was scrambling to find a new restaurant. :D

Did I say anything about objecting? Just preparing myself. ;)
