I'm an author in progress... And I've been working on my manuscript for the past nine months obsessively. I thought my writing style was a little odd, until I heard from other authors who do the same thing. I start from an outline, then I write the middle, then go back to writing the beginning, then finally the end.
Basically I like to start writing with a climax because it gets me motivated to KEEP writing.
Long story short... I just finished my first chapter, the hardest part to write. This THE chapter, and it'll be what an agent/publisher reads.
Now I'm wondering, is there anyone here with free time enough to read it and provide feedback? It's a little rough, and I keep editing it... But I need a fresh perspective from an experienced reader.
I'm actually thinking of setting up a members only blog area for potential beta.
Any volunteers?
