I was re-reading Battle Ground again and something leapt out at me.  In Chapter 6, right before they get dive-bombed by one of the flying squids, Mab nodded to Ebenezar and said, "Br---"

Mab used to be human once.

We don't really know much about Ebenezar's family.

Was Mab Ebenezar's sister?

Mab is much older than Eb, she rode with the Conqueror, William of 1066 and all that. Eb is well over 300 years old, but it is considered at least a millennia in their ages.

This is a theory trotted out before and will be again, at which point you get to point it out to them.

Harry would consider it so. He has always fought to be close to his family, but not that close.

Besides if I were Mab I would be worried, having sex with Harry obviously means she is destined to die, not a curse, but worse, narrative imperative.

Far more fitting if Harry is descended from an earlier child of one of Mab's lovers.
