I just realised the post posted in the wrong forum..........
I'm a big fan of the weird and well written. (not saying Dresden files are weird
)
I've started reading a new series that caught my eye.
A Kiss Before the Apocalypse - Thomas E. Sniegoski
So far first few chapters introduce you to the main character that in the form of a gumshoe comes across a very weird case. Sounds familiar? Far from. When the gumshoe in question has been around a lot longer then the average person. Good read for those who are fans of wizards going in business for themselves.
Hopefully being only 45 pages in I'm not setting myself up for disappointment. Though so far the book hooked me enough to recommend it for dicussion and/or other's enjoyment.
I'll write a better blurb for it when I finish the book.
