Just wanted to pop in and apologize to the people I tried to reassure during the 6 year wait. I never should've defended Jim, and the shitstorm story I wasted time reading shows. I am so, so sorry I ever had any faith or trust in Jim, much less hope that he'd be able to write a good book after so much time off. Shame since I loved this series.

Good news is I'm now used to living without new Dresden Files and I've picked up some new books during th wait.

I am very sorry you felt that way. I don't think it's the worst book. Not the best either, mind you, but I have not been as disappointed. My sympathies.

It was a good read. Some important things happened. A few questions were answered; some new questions were made. Not DB quality but better than SG.
