I don't think it's definitive that Mirror Mirror will be the only time travel books, or even a time travel book.  We could still have a separate time travel book other than Mirror Mirror.
Yep, in a recent interview Jim said that the time travel book will probably be the one before the BAT.
Currently dealing with a backlog of games.

If you want me to type up a book quote or find a WoJ quote, send me a PM.

Rest in peace mdodd.

Fingers crossed it's the PG theorized simultaneous, but it seems like a long shot, as that might not be a big enough plot for the casefile finale.

I'm quite let down MM isn't the time travel book per that Woj. But it does open up the time travel book to be much bigger. I can find TT things in a number of books not just PG, that's just the biggest overt one.. anything with Cowl I could discuss some aspect of TT/alternative future Harry.
So perhaps I might actually get my sliders/quantum leap style adventure :)

The multiverse exists because of branching caused by key decisions in the time-line, on that theory you can never correct your own time-line merely create alternative time-lines. So with MM Harry becomes aware of the multiverse and how it works, in the TT book Harry gets to engineer a world where he can win the BAT, the one he is actually in, but cannot for example save Karrin as that creates a different timeline to which he is not native, and one which may not survive the BAT, saving Karrin may create a time-line where he doesn’t defeat Ethnui or one where she dies 5 minutes later in a totally different fashion. Now that would be cruel, Harry constantly going back to BG to save Murphy only for her to constantly die a warriors death in each of the parallel words created, and Harry has to watch it, time after time.

No one tell Jim.

and do nothing virtually in any of them.

I still don't understand why so many here have been assuming MM would have anything to do with time travel. It's about parallel worlds created by Choice and always has been.

Quantum Leap is one of my all time favorites. It's kinda how I wish Star Trek: Enterprise ended. Al (Dean Stockwell) shows up (again) and Sam leaps out of Archer. I know it doesn't make any sense, but the ending was stupid anyway, so why not?

You could fix your timeline, but the alternate timeline created by your Choice would still exist. Maybe. I don't know. It's all made up.

@BadAlias omg that would have been soooo much better than the actual ending. I did not like it... Neither the unnecessary sacrifice or the conclusion.

Same. I also didn't like the whole holodeck aspect either.
