There's a reason I asked you, Regen. If I ask him, I put myself at his mercy, and his translation could very well be less than honest. It's the kind of prank we like to play on each other... Oh what's that mean? It means "my friend" when it actually means

You know how it goes :P

Ah, that kind of conversation.  ;)
I think you can't be wrong to assume if he calls you a

he means it in the sense of

. Though I personally don't think of that as an insult, obviously ;). I would feel honoured.

Yes. Maybe it's a generation thing. I would say
(click to show/hide)
, but I'm turning 40 this year. LOL The younger ones use words that mean different things to people my age and again have different meanings to older people.
But
(click to show/hide)
don't really make sense in this context. Except it is a new form of calling someone who does

And yes: Momo is a great book. Like that, too.
And OK, I will try to watch Mary Poppins. I never wanted to, because of all the singing. It was too much for me. I usually don't like it.

It kind of dose though XD .

So basically he could be call him a Coward for sneaking up on and killing him, as stabbing some in the back is considered a Cowardly Act XD .

Nice to see this Thread Continued on in my stead n_n .

When I was a child, they would have called someone like that (in the sense of coward) "maricón" or "mariquita", which are offensive words for a gay male. But luckily, this has changed. It is quite unusual know to use those words with that sense. We still use like a lot the word
(click to show/hide)
which is a general, not kind word for a male homosexual too, but two things happened with that word. For one hand, it lose strength, so it has become less harmful and even many gay people use it to refer to themselves. On the other hand, the word has become wider, not only involving gay people know. It has mutated to something like "bastard" but not too strong but rather mildly unless it is said in a very bad tone.

Maybe in Argentina that's the case, but I know for a fact that in Spain it's still pretty much in use. 2 out of the 4 spanish people who come on teamspeak use

on a daily basis.

Spaniards are more conservative  :)
Still, it is not as if no one says that anymore, it is only much less frequent than before
