I have a strange idea that Sanya dies in book 20. That is when Daniel is in the right place and grabs Esperachius in a moment where all seems lost. Daniel is not a Knight of Love, but I think he might just be a Knight of Hope. The son of a man who has been a hero, he know the importance of fighting the good fight. That is the power of hope.
