Astral projection

Just wanted to know if astral projection is possible in the Dresden files. In the series we've only seen Harry do something similar to astral projection using little Chicago, but the Shadowman Victor Sells was able to the same thing without any tool like little Chicago. So could Harry, with no little Chicago send his astral form out into the world to investigate, observe etc. Thoughts?

I think, you are right. But every wizard has his own talents. Harry can do veils for example. But he had to exercise a lot to do them better. Molly still did them better than Harry (referring to her not yet being WL).
So I can believe there are wizards who astral project almost naturally and some who have to concentrate a lot to do it even for a short time.

Harry uses a special focus (LC) but he could do it without. Though not so well and it would likely be more dangerous like not finding back into his body, not being able to tell where his projection is etc.

He could become better with training just like he could do without blasting rod or staff, but it would take longer and would lack precision at first.

We don't know how Sells was doing it. He may have had some sort of tool that he sent out, like a drone, that carried his projection or he may have not had any tool at all.
