The casebooks compare to the BAT in the same way that the short stories compare to the casebooks.

the second most hated perspective (after second person future tense, which, as far as I know, has never been used in anything but flash fiction and CYOA stories, and might as well be mythical)
Wow, second person, future tense. That should be standard going forward.

You will walk into a room with a single, red oil lamp someone will have put there. You will burn your fingers, but you won’t mind. You will hear a voice from behind you drolly intone, ‘fuego, indeed’ as you turn to face the figure who will be standing there. Her eyebrows are going to climb her face and you will show her your teeth.
Maybe this is why Butcher delayed the book; his new style is proving too amazing to stop typing. It’s the new Dresden Files Experience. You are Dresden!

No thank you. Life throws enough punches my way. I would rather not be dodging supernatural ones too.

You're no Harry Dresden
At times I wish I had a clone, but then I realize, I could never live with that a-hole.
