NaNoWriMo Time Again!

It's that time of year again! How many WriMos hang out here?

This year, I am writing a fantasy novel given the sci fi treatment. Scientists discover another plane of reality, filled with fairies and other creatures humans have forgotten to fear. So naturally, we send an expedition to explore this new world. Once they get there, an attack by the local creatures leaves the portal broken and the commanders of the expedition dead.
Or, in the simplest terms: Star Trek takes on the bad neighborhoods of the Nevernever.

Sounds interesting.

I've written for Nanowrimo, but never finished and submitted for judgement.  I've got to review the rules, as I urgent worked on an original story in over a year, since I started writing fanfic.
