How many books planned?

Hi, first time posting but not my first time here. Forgive me if this was answered previously, but do we know if there's a certain number of books planned for this series? I couldn't find any answers in my search.

I believe the initial contract is for three, and I'm fairly certain I've heard Jim say the story can be expanded to five or six books.
