Need Help Stating a Brownie
« on: December 02, 2011, 01:57:28 AM »
I have a player who wants to play a brownie changeling and was wondering peoples opinions on what powers to give one. Was thinking Deminitive Size and glamours for sure but was wanting others thoughts...

I'd go with inhuman speed and possibly inhuman recovery with iron catch.

That'd really be about it.  They're not a particularly powerful race.

Going from memory, I gave Brownies Diminutive Size, Mythic Speed, and Inhuman Recovery.  Also gave them a stunt related to a household task or craft.  That's all most of them had - one exception was the clan matriarch who also had Glamour.

Missing my notes so can't be more detailed at the moment.  :/

Diminutive Size, Inhuman Speed, Inhuman Recovery with the bane catch, glamours.

That's about it.

If you opt against Glamours, you should probably given them something relating to their ability to hide incredibly well.  Either something along the lines of Self only Veil, a variation on the Cloak of Shadows theme, or a power that allows them to use Stealth even in plain sight (ie, no penalties for 'terrain' or movement when using the skulking trapping).  (Combined with a reasonable Stealth skill and Diminutive Size, this would be seriously stealthy.)
