Question about zone effecting enchanted items?

Hello all,
I was just wondering whether you allow an enchanted item to be able to effect a single target or a zone, with 2 less shifts of power? I understand that this is possibly legitimate with rotes, but I wasn't sure with enchanted items.

Yes, that seems reasonable. The enchanted item might have to be designed specifically to effect the whole zone, and you'd better be careful when using it so you don't hit yourself and allies as well.

Sure. It's a magical grenade-equivalent though, you can't use it
without
having it hit an entire Zone.
