New GM tools for you
« on: May 13, 2010, 02:02:04 AM »
Hi All,

I made this Scene Sheet to help keep my head around the story I was telling. I found that they also really helped to organize my thoughts on the fly when the PCs went off track. Its worked really well so far and I wanted to share this with everyone. Tell me what you think.  ;D

Their formatted as 2-up because I like to save paper. I print them 2 sided, cut them in half, and place them in a half size 3-ring binder. Works great and keeps my GM area clear. You could also take it to your favorite print/copy shop and have them make a pad of them.

My players claim it's OCD, but I disagree, I think I just like to stay extremely organized!!!  ::) ;D

I'm working on some more, specifically a Minor/Supporting NPC sheet, and a Major NPC sheet.

Nice. That could end up being very useful.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm constantly trying to improve my GM skills and any crutch I can use is a benefit. I'm almost done with the Major and Supporting NPC sheets, should be up by tonight.

Ok, here's my NPC sheet. After finishing this one, I realized that this would be all I need. With that said, please provide any comments or suggestions you feel would benefit this sheet, and have fun!

One note. You will notice that my stress tracks go to 12. I went through the books and the best I could come up with was a 10 stress track. I added the additional two, thinking that someone's homemade rules or powers could take advantage. Or if you just wanted to throw a small dragon at your PC's.  ;D

No worries, that's why I posted them.

I did realize last night that it is possible to have a 12 stress track within the RAW.  So I guess my "fudge" of the stress track was actually correct.  I also realized after I posted the NPC sheet that the consequence track could cause some confusion, so I will rework that section and repost it later this weekend.  If anyone has any other suggestions, I'll take 'em.
