Exorcism Question
« on: March 06, 2010, 03:12:40 AM »
Just wondering from those in the know  ;),

How does the DFRPG handle exorcism? I just finished reading some old Hellblazer graphic novels and decided to watch Constantine. I thought this would fit really well in a darker version of Jim's world. So...

Any clues?  ;D

It doesn't explicitly "handle" it so much as tell you how spells and faith work and give you plenty of options for handling it however you think makes sense. Does it involve spells and such? Is it a straight up contest of the power of belief against the potency of the demon? The tools are there.

Yup. I'd go with a mental conflict between the demon and the exorcist.

Excellent  ;D

I didn't see it in the True Faith section of the powers list written up in the Q&A, so I was just curious as to whether it was a Stunt or something else entirely.

Thanks guys!
