A small item, but maybe TTH locked up Pell's theater in order to keep Murphy from going inside and getting killed by the guard Fetches.

Mechanically it would be as simple as focusing on Thaumaturgy and potions, (runes). If you have focus items, those could be your tattoos, or a bag of rune stone. You could also have an aspect involving your runes specifically, so you can always have an easy tag based on your theme.

Did you have a theme, like FMA or a variation it that anime? Also, will you be using an existing set of runes, on an invented one?

Your comment on programming gave me the thought of some young computer geek from the currant generation, immersed in computers and social media from the time they could talk. Then BAM! Puberty and their powers hit, and they lose it all. But their powers are affected by the way they grew up. Casting spells by writing the effect out on a keyboard, spells written in programming languages, (indecipherable to other wizards).

Found this link over in It Came... From The Internets! Has some great potential for building an adventure around the story.

I think that it means that as Mother Winter, she has ultimate authority over who gets the mantel, but left it in the possession of Mab to grant.

Mouse went with Molly & Thomas in the helicopter from Chitzen (however-you-spell-it) at end of Changes. In Ghost Story, Harry (w/ Archangel Uriel) visits Maggie at the Carpenters' house & Mouse is there. Uriel tells Mouse to stay with Maggie & tells Harry that Mouse will potentially live as long as Maggie - even if she has a longer Wizard lifespan. (Several Archangels have similiar U---- names. It's the one Harry talked to in Ghost Story. Uriel?)

Its spelled Chicken Pizza.

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer"

Maeve had stopped listening to Mab, and started listening to Nemesis.

"Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world"

Sums up Cowl nicely, Nemesis as well.

"The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned"

The Fomor stealing innocent practitioners, those with a magical bloodline.

You could find parallels throughout, but I would also add that Harry has often been referred to as a fulcrum, or "In the center", directing the turn of events.

That is the prevailing theory, gone into greater detail in atleast a half dozen other threads.

Well, certain recent events in the books and theories in the forums have laid out the possibility that Nemesis is in the council to some degree. We have also seen that The Erlking is at least willing to hunt outsiders, if he is not actively engaged in fighting the enemy. So he may have given the belts to the FBI agents to aid them in hunting out the agents of Nemesis, and warned them about Harry because he was an unknown quantity, aside from being a WC agent.

Considering the conversation with the Mothers, I wonder if Harry's mantle as Starborn would have gone to Winter as well, if he had made it into the stew pot.

Also, during Harry's conversation with Mother Summer, she mentions that it is possible to stay ones self despite powers that mold you, and that she both is and is not referring to Harry. Could she be referring also to Maeve (maaaaybe) or Molly (definitely)? Harry always seems to have an easier time doing the right thing for himself after he has helped someone else do the right thing in situation parallel to his own.

Chapter 22

Harry decks Sharkface with a Winter/Soulfire infused punch.

8 shades of "Stare into the fist of Dredd!"

The idea of old gods stepping down or turning into something different was mentioned several times in CD, and the series as well. Maybe two of the three fates became mother Summer and Winter because that is what they were needed to be. It could be that there is no third anymore, for one reason or another.

Mein Kampf by Evil Bob

Hey, in the Dresdenverse, this might have some merit.

Psychomancy, or object/area reading based on contact with plants would be a possibility. Being able to sense the past through a plant would also provide some vivid flavor text for the GM. Imagining trying to sort out information through the solid presence of a hundreds year old oak to the riot of thousands of voices from a field of short lived grass blades.

Maybe their magic is not affected negatively by water, or is even enhanced by it. Like the healing tubs from Alera.

Enhanced Entropomancy in regards to wearing down man made structures, like a root of a tiny plant forming a crack in the sidewalk.
