DFRPG / Re: A Question about PBP
« on: November 01, 2012, 12:21:04 PM »
An additional question as I am considering doing this with a friend of mine who just got transfered to Mexico for business.  Are there any good sites to do this on or what is a good format to set up a website to do this?  I have never tried this before and we want to give it a go but unsure how to get started.

DFRPG / Anyone converted Fudge to Open D6
« on: November 10, 2010, 10:59:14 PM »
Hello,

I love the Dresden universe and like what Evil Hat did with the products for the Dresden game.  Unfortunately as much as I think they were able to capture the spirit of Dresden, I and my group aren't fond of the Fudge System.  I plan to convert the Fudge system to the Open D6 system.  Before I do so though, I wanted to make sure no one had already done so.

If anyone has a site that they have already done this, could they please give the address.  And/or if there is a better system that I am missing that Fudge converts to easily could someone point that out to me.

Thanks

DFRPG / Re: Dresden Files - M&M Style

Surprisingly, it handles the dresden-verse pretty darn well, actually.  I'll have to dig around my massive number of text files, and see if I can't find my Dresden-verse M&M templates.  I have templates for Wizard, White Court Vampire, Black Court Vampire, Red Court Vampire, and Changeling.  Mostly they're just a package deal you buy that gives you all the common abilities (like wizards all get soulgaze (which I'm still not quite happy with how I have it) and wizard's sight, for example).

It's not foolproof by any means, and I think the Dresden RPG is going to be a much better fit, but it does work pretty nicely.

Cheers,

I am about to run a M&M Dresden game, any chance you could post those templates?   Please.
