Honestly, I love writing short stories. I've ended up writing half a dozen just to flesh out my universe and get a grip before I tackled bigger challenges with the 'verse.

Since my Dresden Files RPG will be an event from the high-school, I'm going to take it down to a level I hope they'll understand.

"It's right under everyone's noses. The magic, the monsters. Welcome to The Dresden Files. How do we get this? Take Harry Potter. But instead of a little teenager boy, make it a wise-cracking twenty-thirty-something wizard living in perpetual poverty in Chicago who works as a PI sleuthing around for some justice. And the baddies? This is stuff that would make Rowling's creepy-crawlies soil their trousers. We've got vampires, we've got fairies, we've got demons. We've got freaking frozen turkeys that fall out of the sky to use as homing missiles. There's no limit. It's The Dresden Files."

This sounds like a truly sweet plot. Wish I'd thought of it. XD

I've just wrapped up the first (and started a second) in an urban fantasy/police procedural series I'm writing, but I'm desperately looking for an editor and/or a co-writer to help out with the next one's production. An idea for urban fantasy stories I'd like to see; wizards divided by country same as everyone else, perhaps even with nationalism according to their magic. Governmet-employed wizards is something I'd also like to see experimented with.

I electronically send it off to other people (friends and family) for them to do it. Remember, family are like employees; exploit them.

But, seriously, I prefer electronic, just so I can attack it directly.

Well, I've done my own private Dresden Files RPG before, set in a liberal interpretation of the Dresdenverse. Of course, I'm the only here who's read the series, so we incorporate other venues into the RPG. Loads of fun.
