Not to derail off topic (Good heavens no.) But seeing as this is very heavy on Mab's timeline or potential timeline, I gotta ask a couple questions. I think I remember the answers, but if I'm even close to right, it brings up another important consideration.

When did Mab move from Lady to Queen?

When were Maeve and Sarissa born?

When did Maeve become Lady?

See? and this is why I tried to point out ppl with very few posts coming in and belittling members. Funny I draw attention to whom I really am and suddenly start seeing the same thing I avoided in ignominy before...

Got no idea who you are, brother. But you've got to enjoy the irony in claiming to be belittled while at the same time attempting to marginalize me based on a post number, as if the amount of times I or anyone else has posted has anything to do with the merit of what we're saying. It makes me think of the high school superlatives. "Talk's most, says least"

I'm not aiming to belittle anyone, but when you post a novelette of WAG's as if they're fact, like you're Deep Throat or something, its probably fair to expect a bit of skepticism.

As for Jim's timeline you referenced, I'd love to know where you're getting that info, as all outlets are still saying no release date has been announced.

15 books into this series have we actually seen a payoff to any of the conspiracy theories? Because if Jim's prior comments are to be believed, the series is about 75% done, and there just hasn't been any sort of "AH HA!" type stuff.

Yikes. A whole year away for stuff thats already written. Why is there such a delay?

Yeah, I mean...if Jim lied, he'd be like the first writer in history to lie for the sake of not spoiling the story. The very first. Ever.

Also Jim is famously quoted as saying Justin is dead, before spelling out D-E-D. Maybe he's just being funny, but that's not how you spell dead.

He's also spent a lot of time showing us that dead is a spectrum.

It blows my mind the way people will dissect every little thing down to microscopic parts, and so few are willing to consider that maybe he's just lying to preserve the reveal.

I dug it. It's a little predictable (No more than you'd expect from a prequel story.)  Luccio is a bad ass, I always love getting another creature featured, and the idea of her very famous team up buddy being a venator was pretty cool.

A hell of a story for a mere 50 pages. I want to see more of her opposition. We didn't get to see him use his magic. The ending says there's more story to tell.
