Oh Hooray!  Another Dresden book!  OK, I'll just reread his other books until he's ready to publish!   :D

OK!  Thanks!  I got the impression from some of the headings on this forum, and questions I saw asked that it was already out.  Hooray!  Another Jim B. series to look forward to!

Cinder Spires Books / Where does one find this series?
« on: November 09, 2014, 01:12:12 AM »
I just tried to look for this series on Amazon but couldn't find it.  Who sells it?  I'd like to at least take a look at it. Is it book form, or kindle-type form or "comic" book form?  Thanks all!

DFRPG / What is DFRPG
« on: May 22, 2011, 04:12:26 AM »
Hey, what IS DFRPG?  Just think of me as a possibly middle-aged woman with no teenage sons (or daughters) to explain these things to me. ;)

Let's throw Johnny Depp into the story somewhere...maybe as a Red Court vampire....or a white court vampire....

Calendar Event Discussion / Re: Changes released April 6, 2010

What a bizarre coincidence--the date I mean.  If my little niece had lived, she would be 9 on that day. She was born with a severe heart abnormality--complications which caused many changes in all our lives--as did her passing.

Sorry, not meaning to be a downer.  I just find the timing and name of the book somewhat eerie and ironic.

I think I might wait until that day passes before I buy the book.

Sorry, I have to vote against Jared Padaleki.  He played Thomas Kinkaid (the "Painter of Light") in a Hall-mark style movie over Christmas.  Kind of ruined him as a tough guy--or even tough-ish guy for me.  I'll never be able to imagine him without a paintbrush in his hand ever again....Try to see him with a wand---and have the wand morph into a brush...nope...just does not work for me....

DF Books / Re: Did you discover the books because of the TV Show?
« on: August 11, 2007, 04:05:15 PM »
I saw the show first, and then another "on-line" friend-a woman who I think might be in her 50's, recommended the books to me-a woman in her "40's" (though I think someone made a mistake on my birth certificate as I feel much younger than that!)  Anyway, I think these books are fantastic.  I try to explain them to people who've never heard of Dresdin as "Harry Potter for adults" in that the imagination and character development, not to mention plotting, is so well done.  And you know, another thing about these books is that they are pretty-much "clean".  I think I could just about be comfortable recommending them to my teenage nieces and nephews (with a few scene exeptions of course.)  Glad there's a website for Butcher, he is certainly a worthy writer!
