Sure thing. I saw an advertisement for the show while I was watching Monk. As soon as
I saw the "based on ...." I went to the bookstore. I think it was funny because at the time
I was trying to decide which book to start with...."were they as good as the T.V. show?"
Sure the books are way better then the show. But I bought the DVDs. I thought the person who played Dresden was darn good. I know Murphy is blonde but I see Murphy as 2 people.
I see her with blonde/brown hair. I am very grateful to the show...I might not have ever
"discovered" Dresden Files and/or Jim Butcher.

I am one many it seems that I owe it all to the Dresden Files T.V. series. I had stopped going to book stores. I owe a debt to the Syfy channel.When I think of Murphy I tend to thin of her as the actress in the TV show instead of the way she is described in the books...Even though it seems like years ago I remember how excited I was when the show started....at seeing something that little blurb....based on the books by Jim Butcher. The rest is history. Still my favorite author and still my favorite series....As you can see I could go on and on..

I am glad you are unwilling to give a release date....I know firsthand about the curse...as for word of mouth I will be glad to let everyone I know about the game/book! I can hardly wait myself but I know the wait will be worth it.

I just wanted to jump in here for a minute. The way I understand is based on the
The Dresden Files. So the characters are described as the are in the books.
This RPG is also going to be a companion guide( if that is what it is called)
to the books. That is why I want the game.
Once you buy the game I am sure you will be able to play the game the way you
want to.

That's the attitude! Harry Potter and Twilight maybe nice but Harry Dresden overshadows both of them. I have been waiting all year(like everybody else)
and I am so ready for my copy from Amazon! I might be unable to be at any
party for Harry Dresden(hopefully I will be working) but I will do my own
little happy dance starting on April 6-7, 2009....YEAH!

Of course I am going to beg for pictures, pictures, pictures!

I definitely plan to buy it....I have been waiting for it since I have heard about
it...As usual I have all my fingers crossed and my toes that I will have money
in my Butcher Budget....Once I have the book/game? I have never play a RPG or an online game.

I have a question about the Dresden Files calendar. I ordered 2 from
Amazon but they are still unable to ship them to me. I tried Borders.
Do I wait for Amazon or is there somewhere I can buy them?
