No. My cousin came to hang out. And said my friend got me hooked on these books. I know his friend, he's good with books. My cousin was going on about Harry blowing shit up, Murphy this kick ass Police chick and Gentleman Johnnie Marcone.... he goes, yes you have to call him Gentleman Johnnie! And Victor Shadow Man ....  I said, ok! He handed me his copy of Storm Front .... and that was pretty much that. It wasn't until later i found out about the show. And at first, since i'm not completely up to GH, i thought watching the show, would ruined things for me, so i put it off .... once i got further into the series, and figured i was pass what the show, adapted, i gave it a try. Only to find out, that you could only be on Fool Moon .... and still not have it ruined for you. The show was alright, i only just finished it recently. Like most i prefer the books, no questions asked. The thing i liked least about it the show .... was the Harry and Bianca hooking up thing.... Which is probably why i, put off finishing it. Overall, there were some good episodes, and Paul Blackthorne, was good at being Harry .... the whole lying to Murph to keep her safe, thing brought me back to Storm Front. And even though, i wasn't expecting it, Terrence Mann, as Bob was fun. :)

I think he'd make a great Marcone.  Tight control suddenly exploding into violence and then the calm facade smoothly reappears.  Oh yeah.

Yeah, i agree with you here ....especially the calm facade. I was thinking what about Mark Wahlberg for Kincaid.  Jay Hernandez, Jeremy Ray Valdez, Olivier Martinez or Gael Garcia Bernal for Ramires.

anyone like Rufus Sewell for Marcone?

Maybe, tho i see him more as a Lord Raith, when looking at him.

DF Books / Re: Shirt Quotes: Buy Dresden Stuff!
« on: August 09, 2011, 06:33:02 AM »
This may sound cheesy and simple, but when i first started reading the series. I wanted a black shirt with white writing that read

                       Harry Dresden.

                         ( Wizard. )

And that was it. I didn't give a crap if no one got it. I would. Now that i'm deeper into the series .... i realize that inside the parentheses .... there would be more than just wizard. I still want that shirt, though.

I pictured him as Michael.  It's not as if he'd be a stranger to swinging a sword to and fro (as has been pointed out previously in this thread).

That's true, but i can't personally see Mr.Butler as Michael. I just picture him differently. Maybe, a little Brad Pittish .... with his hair harder and bearded with gray. And James Franco .... comes to mind for Thomas. Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood or Michael Caine as Ebenezer.... maybe, their thiner than i imagine him. Maybe, Harrison Ford would be a cool Michael, but too old. Don't hate me for my choices .... i know everyone pictures them differently. I never really thought about casting before thread. I wouldn't even know where to start with Harry .... he's just the way he is in my head.
