I`m a native Philadelphian and didn`t know about this. Will definitely be on the watch for it next year. Sounds like a blast. Thanks for the reports and pics.
Xionin, thanks for posting the quotes from the Bucks Courier Times. I`m just over the border here, get the Philly Inquirer, so would never have seen that. Very enjoyable read.

While I feel a need to defend my home and its culinary greatness, I have to agree that scrapple is indefensible. It has been said that whatever is deemed too nasty to put into a hot dog is reserved for the scrapple. However we more than make up for its vileness with our soft pretzels and CHEESESTEAKS. And Tastykakes.
