My friends and I had the best day on Saturday! We went to Jim's panel, which was great, even if he wouldn't reveal any spoilers, and got a photo with him. Got a couple of books signed too. He was really nice, we were all impressed with how approachable he was, especially since we were all a bit star-struck. Jim even stopped to say hello to me later when he was just wandering around the con doing some shopping (I was pretty easy to spot, being dressed as Molly).
So, I really just wanted to say thanks to Jim for making the effort to come all the way to Australia, we really appreciated it. Maybe we'll see you again next year...?

Hey, so there's only a week to go til Melbourne Supanova! Who else is excited? We've got a group of 7 who will all be costuming as various Dresden characters on Saturday, and we were wondering if anyone else is dressing up as well? Hopefully we will see some of you there!

Me and a whole group of people are going to road trip to Melbourne as well, we are so excited to actually meet Jim! Also looking forward to meeting many other Jim Butcher fans.

I've been watching season 8 of 'Dexter' recently, and the bad guy for this season looks just like how I picture Marcone. It freaks me out every time I see him. Picture here:

Adelaide, South Australia! It's easy to find, just get a globe of the world, look for the exact point that's farthest from the United States as you can get, and there it is. Oh, so that's why Jim's never come here  :(

Pretty much the whole of Changes is filled with these moments for me, as Harry loses everything. But the point where I started crying was as he was taken away from his burning house after breaking his back, and all he could do was watch his house burn down. I think that's where I realised for sure that things would never be the same in the series again.
