I just finished reading Dead Man's Hand by James J. Butcher and really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next one.

Vlad the Impaler's castle. I see Dresden needing to go there for either a ritual, or to retrieve something that's still there. Something to do with either the Black Court or Drakul himself.
I think it would be cool if either he did something that showed the past, or he saw a flashback to the location to see that there is a lot more to the history of the place.
Outside of Thomas taking up Amoracchius and using it to somehow remove Nemesis from Justine, what other method might be available?
I was thinking about a piece of the Wall to be used as a foci/ritual object. Presumably it's an anathema to them, or they'd storm the Wall rather than the Gate. Maybe it could help get Nemesis out? And possibly help keep him out after-the-fact? Would shaving off a little bit of the inner Wall be worth making charms for Harry's closest allies to keep them free from Nemfection?
He was probably working for a cabal on the Senior Council Langtrey, La Fortier and Petrovich. Three can keep a secret if two of them are dead. This suggests Langtrey was behind the murders of the other two, Peabody was his cat’s paw against La Fortier, and got him to whammy Luccio. He betrayed Petrovich to the Reds. Du Morne was apprenticed to Petrovich former Warden a perfect choice if one was creating weapons.
Ah! But you say Langtrey was relieved when Peabody was exposed, but think how Harry did it, it would have been nigh on impossible for him to defend Peabody (Mai sided with Mouse) and politically it saved his public bacon, he hadn’t expected Morgan’s intervention, and that created a witness who had to be silenced, hence the manhunt. Peabody nearly escaped, except another intervention by Morgan ended him, and it was the plan all along.
The expulsion plan now is to keep Harry away from the White Council, maybe, because Arthur Langtrey is afraid Harry is going to put everything together leading to his exposure as.......Cowl.
That reminds me, he's got Soulfire too.And he has power over Outsiders ie Starborn
No.sounds like a conspiracy theory ;-)
I don't see it in my android appI wonder if it's because I preordered it
I wasn't trolling. If you go to the Kindle store using the Android app, there is a button that says download sample. The sample includes the first three chapters as well as chapter 4 and part of chapter 5. My screen grabs are too big to post here, and I don't have time to photoshop them smaller. But I will try to do it on my lunch break if people insist. I'm not sure why the thread was locked.
The beta readers might be under a confidentiality agreement about which continuity errors are deliberate and which are garden-variety slipups anyway. The deliberate ones are clues to something, and a list of which is which would be too revealing.
Well...he lived in a basement for 15+ years. Probably never considered attacks from below.Like in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Jim has also stated that Harry is the incompetent buffoon type of wizard. In WK while fighting Malvora in the deeps, he never considered 3D fighting, only 2D.
