Calendar Event Discussion / Re: April 14: BittenByBooks.com Q&A
« on: April 14, 2010, 12:28:50 AM »
Two questions on this.

1.)To "attend" the event, does one need to make sure to RSVP?

2.)If one does need to RSVP, I suppose those of us with copies should say "no need for copy" or some such?

Hi there!

You don't need to RSVP, it is for the contest AND to give as an idea of how many people to expect for the server etc. Not mandatory at all. If you don't want to be entered into the contest you can let us know in the comments when you post your first question.

Thanks, so much!

A HUGE thank you to Priscellie  for spreading the word and for your help! :)

I don't know if this counts as an event. So, please feel free to push this wherever it should live. BUT, Bob the skull has been nominated for our poll this week as favorite side kick.

Details here: http://bittenbybooks.com/?p=7935

You know who got my vote! :)

This was a great event. I haven't been to a signing with so many people at it before!

It was good to meet the circle of forum folks at the end. I had hoped to be able to chat more after getting the book signed but they ushered us out because the store was closed. :)

My husband got a  lot of pictures, we are going to make them into a slideshow for Jim's online interview tomorrow. If there is a place to post them here on the forums, I would be glad to share them here too.

Most of them didn't turn out because he was moving. Actually those are kind of funny. LOL

I met another guy at Cape Comic Con this last weekend who was also at the signing. I don't remember seeing him, but then again, there were a TON of folks there.

Small world eh?

Sorry, I have been MIA. So much stuff has been going on since the event. It just gets busier and busier as the weather turns nicer and people are coming out of hibernation!

We are coming from the Paducah area. But we can't leave here until a bit after noon. So we will be cutting it close to get there on time. I think it is like 5 or almost 6 hours.
