Albion is also one of the earliest known names for the British Isles.

You do make some good points Mith. It could just be my paranoia, but Vinnypop also brought a good point about the duels which is very much like the Juris Macto. The duels are also very "Age of Sail" . . .
I don't really see the steam punk in Cinder Spires at all the be honest. It's just.... British.Oh, its steampunk but Jim isn't hitting you in the face with how steampunk it is! Rock solid story with characters that draw you in!
Amazon is taking pre-orders for the Audio edition (here in the US) so it is being produced at the very least. Which distributor in which country might not have settled out yet, but at least it will exist and looks like it will be available at the time of Release.
I went to Audible and searched: "The Cinder Spires: the Aeronaut's Windlass". It found THE BOOK (give me the book), so I log into Audible and it says: "We're sorry. Due to publishing rights restrictions, we are not authorized to sell this item in the country where you live." That sucks I cannot pre-order yet, however it does kind of hint that it will be available at some point.Thank you for the link! I tried a search on Audible but nothing came up.
