DFRPG / Need some help statting a demon...
« on: May 09, 2010, 11:06:59 PM »
I'm running a one-shot to playtest the system, using this scenario that I came up with: http://lostzeppo.wordpress.com/2010/05/08/adventure-seed-dresden-files-rpg-the-killing-ground/#more-88

I've got stats done for the ghosts, all I still have to do are the stats for the demon and the sorceror who summoned it.

I'm still not entirely familiar with the system yet (I'm terrible at reading PDFs), so I've based much of the demon's stats on the toad demon from Storm Front, but what I need some help with is coming up with its earth manipulating powers. Any thoughts?

Personally, I vote for the Setting Primer, want to see how it's handled for the book.

Possibly the Night Watch and Day Watch movies. One of the comments a friend of mine had when I introduced himself to the Dresden Files (admittedly the TV version rather than the books) was that the way magic worked in it reminded him of Night Watch.

I have a Japanese fox spirit character I use in our homebrew modern supernatural campaign, I'd very much like to port him to the Dresden Files RPG when it comes out. Only problem is, I'm not sure whether fox spirits exist or not in Dresden canon. If not, I guess they'd probably be some variety of Fae, right?
